MLP EG - RGaSWD - Reunion of Friendship pt 2

Later in the planet Panna, Katie's ship gently descend itself to the ground surface. The door open downward so Katie Jadie, Rockster Girls, 3PO, TC-17, R2, Jadie and Scrath exit it and find Kybo Ren. Scrath was the last droid to leave the ship. With his large size it made it difficult for him to maneuver the transport. After hitting his dome-like head several times on the doorway, he finally figure out how to depart from the vessel and floated gently outside. Melina beeps at Scrath to ask him if he saw her and sisters sing in the club diner bar with her antennas. The STR droid replied with an unusual beeps and whistles. It sounded like an astromech dialect, but it was difficult to understand. TC-17 approached the two, "He says he heard it." She decoded him warmly.

Melina beeps at her about why it is difficult for Scrath to understand the binary language she is speaking with her antennas.

"His voice is only partially finished." TC whispered to Melina, not wanting the STR to feel bad, "He speaks in a very archaic manner."

Melina beeps worriedly that he needs to be completed and need someone who is good at repairing droids.

"That might be difficult." TC-17 replied worriedly.

Scrath beeped curiously, wondering what they were talking about.

She patted him, "Melina thinks there might be away to complete your voice.

This large robot whistled cheerfully at the idea. Katie look around and said, "My Katie Sense tell me that they went this way." She point her index finger to the left path so they went this way. Then, they found Kybo Ren and his pirate crew who are navigating around this planet Panna. She whispered, "There they are."

The pirates' ship was heading to the main city of the planet. There were guards standing by the entrance. They were an interesting looking species, as they had two faces on their head. Kybo Ren departed from the space craft.

"This is Antorn, right?" The man said as he approached one of the guards. They both nodded in responce, though one curiously raised an eyebrow at the Ropagu.

"I'd like to visit your leader, King-" The guard immediately brought his sword to the pirate's face, surprising Kybo Ren greatly.
With a growling voice, "King Ahlan Yan doesn't allow strangers in his fortress."

Despite the weapon directly at his face the captain smirked, "I'm a stranger he might want to meet. I can produce the serum."

Both of the guards' eyes widened, the other sheathed his sword. "Come with us, we'll show you the way."

3PO watched the situation unfold, "They must be desperate if they didn't ask how he could make some." He replied with great concern. Zoey still feels a little sad if 3PO loves TC-17 still now and she seems oblivious that they are ex-couple during their reunion. From his peripheral vision he saw Zoey, noticing that she looked a little upset. C-3PO approached her, "Mistress Zoey, is something wrong?  

Zoey confessed, "I'm sorry, 3PO. When I see TC-17 you know her before, I sensed that she was your longtime girlfriend and I didn't know. I still miss you from the past to future and I can't live without you. If she really was your girlfriend before me, it's fine. You can love her if you want. I'll stick to be your friend instead of...true love of your life."

3PO was surprised and partially confused, "M-me and TC were something! ...Once, but that's been a long time ago." He replied awkwardly, "I apologize, if I knew she was around that club I wouldn't have entered it." He felt bad for Zoey, but had no idea how to handle the situation.

Zoey asked, "What do you mean you two are something? I am not a mistress. I'm just Katie's third cyborg droid."

"I thought you were simply a cyborg? Ah, nevermind..." He paused briefly then continued, "I suppose me and TC were a couple once, but since we were split up by our masters I suppose it ended." He replied.

"Ended? Why?" Zoey asked.

Ashley told, "There's no time to question now. Let's follow Katie's lead."

Zoey added, "Or your lead."

"KATIE'S lead." Ashley firmly reminded Zoey.

"Come on, guys. Follow Kybo Ren to see what he's up to now." Katie commanded.

They follow Katie's lead while they are following Kybo Ren, his pirate crew and Panna guards. The city was reminiscent to Mos Eisley back on Tatoonie, although much bigger and felt more like a metropolis. It became quickly obvious that this was the social hub of the planet. Most of the residents were either humanoid or reptile like, with some even resembling dinosaurs. However the streets were packed and it made it somewhat difficult to take in the sights and the culture of Panna.

The most awkward part was the size of Scrath. He regularly stopped individuals from where they were going on accident. Some yelled at the droid, thankfully he wasn't familiar with their language. Katie smells something and said, "I can smell Kybo Ren's scent so let's follow it." She leads the Rockster Girls and the gang to follow Kybo Ren. Then, they found him with the guards entering the palace. Much like any royal building, the palace was huge. It made with a curious mix of brick and steel, giving it a very industrial look. R2D2 beeped at the group, asking how they were going to get in.

Zoey asked, "R2 was asking is how are we gonna get in?"

"The Jedi mind trick, of course." Katie smiled positively. They approach the guards and Katie use the Jedi mind trick on them. She commanded the guard with her Jedi Mind Trick, "You will let all of us enter to see the king."

The guard blinked then stood up straight and somehow affected by her Jedi Mind Trick ability, "I will take you to the king."

He opened the heavy doors and entered the castle. The walls were decorated with flags, presumably ones that celebrated the royal family's history and successes. Katie smiled, "Thank you." They follow the guards to see Kybo Ren and the king in the throne room.

Ahlan Yan stood up from his throne as he saw another one of his guards bring in another group, "Who are these people?" He commanded.

Katie smiled, "We are the Jedi. I am Katie Jadie and these are my droids."

The king frowned and was about to speak until Kybo Ren butted in, "Your majesty, I would not trust these women. I have dealt with their droids before, they're unstable and dangerous."

Ashley know his lie and told the king, "He's lying. We know these droids more than him. They're good, stable and they're with the Jedi side."

He looked at Ashley as she defended the droids. The man let out a sigh as he sat back on his throne, looking at both of the groups. "What side you're on doesn't matter to me," He replied, "Can either of you get the serum?"

"Your majesty, I can make the serum." Kybo Ren smiled.

Katie said as she hold up her iPhone and went up a little closer to the king, "Perhaps I show you the real plan of Kybo Ren for the serum." She show a video of group of Kybo Ren and his pirates were chatting loudly, with the occasional roar of laughter in their conversation, no different from the majority of individuals present in Cantina bar. They were comfortable with talking about their planes publicly in this environment; no one here would dare to stop them and if someone were they would only bet met with a blaster.

"What do we do now, boss?" One of the pirates spoke, taking a sip of his gruel after he was finished.

"We were lucky enough to escape from Tammuz-an." Their leader leaned back into his chair. He was embarrassed by their failure, but would never admit it because of his inflated ego.
"
Yeah," One of them laughed, "I doubt anyone would hire us now."

Kybo-Ren glared and swiftly brought his sword to the mook's neck, "There's still plenty of systems to steal from." He growled, but understood the pirate's point. He sighed and sheathed his sword, sitting back into his chair half defeated.

The king watched the video closely. As it began, the captain almost wanted to reach out to the small device and crush it, but it was too late. Even if only the beginning half of the video worked, it was enough to show that Kybo wasn't a dealer that Ahlan Yan could've trusted.

Another man reluctantly began to speak, "What about the Panna system, sir?"

"What about it?" Their captain snapped.

The pirate flinched, but nervously continued giving his suggestion, "I heard that the sleeping virus has hit it hard and they have very little of the serum," He frowned, "They're willing to pay thousands for just a dozen."

A smile appeared on Kybo-Ren's face, "They're desperate, are they?" He began to laugh slightly, "They'd be easy to trick!"

Kybo-Ren looked back at the pirate that suggested this plan, "You do have the coordinates for the Panna system, right?"
The man quickly checked a device, then put his focus back onto his captain, "Of course sir, I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't."

The overweight Ropagu clasped his hands together, "All right men, we're going to Panna!" He announced triumphantly, with his crew cheering.

The pirates left in a hurry, but one member of the crew was nice enough to at least leave a tip to whoever was their waitress.

This is where the video Katie recorded end in her iPhone. Katie asked as she put away her iPhone into her backpack, "Well, your highness?"

"Guards, take him away!" The king stood up and commanded angrily, "And find the rest of his men. Clearly they have no idea what position we're in!"

The guards nodded and took the pirate away. The captain looked less then majestic as he was yelling about his innocence, particularly angry that the same two droids aided in his downfall once again. Ahlan Yan let out a defeated sigh as he sat down in a slumped position on his throne.

Ashley explained, "We try to capture Kybo Ren and take him back to jail where he belongs. As for the sleeping serum, if this is what you want it, we'll bring it for you. Katie here is an intelligent scientist with academic knowledge."

"That is true about me." Katie smiled confidently.

He looked at them with an hesitant frown, "But how can I trust you? I let a known criminal enter my palace and I was willing to believe him."

Katie answered, "If you don't know me. You can have one of your scientists if you have one to analyze to see if we are good heroes or criminals."

It was obvious the king was unsure, but he eventually looked towards the guard that brought the group in and spoke, "Take them to the head of scientists, but don't let them out of your sight."

The guard nodded, "Yes sir." With his sword, he poked R2D2 forward, "Follow me." He said gruffly before the astromech unit let out a surprised whistle. Katie, the Rockster Girls and the droids follow the guard to the laboratory room where the scientist is waiting.

The group entered first and then the guard, but unfortunately Scrath was unable to fit in the small room. It let out a disappointed trill outside of the door way. TC attempted to approach him but the alien pushed the robot away, "What were you thinking?"

"I was just trying to talk to my friend." The fembot was surprised.

"You can talk to him later!" The guard unsheathed his sword and moved the droid back to the rest of the group. "You don't need to be so pushy." The machine quietly grumbled.

The head scientist looked up and was taken off guard to see the group. His attention was completely on a formula, but with his focus broken the man looked a little frazzled. "Why are you in here?" He blinked.

Zoey answered, "You're gonna analyze our brains and see who we are to see that we are not criminals."

"Right," He mumbled quietly and brought out the machines. They were large and imposing in appearance, especially when noticing the wires that connected to the patient's brains.

"This won't harm a droid, would it?" 3PO asked cautiously as he looked at the alien getting everything prepared.

"It shouldn't." He replied nonchalantly. The protocol droid didn't feel very reassured with that answer.

The scientist took the wires and connected two of them onto each person. It was a little difficult for Scrath, who was hardly in the room, but managed to get them on the bulky machine. He activate the machine to analyze them and it shows they aren't lying at all. They are good heroes. Their brains of full of knowledge and languages translations abilities.

"It looks like you can be trusted." The scientist spoke after disconnecting the group from the machine. The droids looked relieved hearing the man's comment, especially C3PO.

The alien approached the Rockster Girls, "I noticed that you had a vast amount of knowledge," He began, "I'm guessing that you're all here because of the serum. The problem is that the recipe for it has never been written." He frowned and then sighed, "I'm always looking for some extra help."

Katie grinned, "Oh! Scan me since it's my turn now!"

The scientist blinked, "Well, alright." He connected this pink skinned human girl to the machine again. Then, the screen show that she is full of knowledge and science intelligence. Especially about her Katie Sense. It explains that she is an expert in science and friendship. More academics stuff. She study friendship, science, filming, farming, parties, fashion designs, costume designs, sports, nature of life and animals, magic, myth and math about all the time. She am mostly the student of the filming class of Canterlot High School.

The scientist titled his head slightly, "Canterlot? I've never heard of such a place."

Then, the results on screen shows that she studies science stuff and even the different kind of science from Star Wars including the thing about she knows about the sleeping virus and the serum existed for an Imperial sleeping virus. She remember the bounty hunter Boba Fett located some on Panna Prime when the Rebels Luke Skywalker and Han Solo succumbed to the virus's effects with her hunch and mysterious predictions by her Katie Sense.

The man was startled and looked at the device's screen intensely. He rushed towards Katie, startling R2D2 briefly and making him quickly move of his way. He removed the wires from Katie with force (which was slightly painful for the human), "You know of the serum?!"

Katie nodded, "Yes. Now you saw my scientific knowledge was about 100 percent."

He frowned, "We really need your help." He replied, almost desperately.

Ashley told concernedly, "If you had problems, just don't be afraid. Just tell us what's wrong with your honest confession."

"The recipe has been a part of our culture for the longest of times, but the problem is that we've never taken to time to record it," He frowned, "It was only to be shared through word of mouth. We were afraid that the serum could be found on other planets, which would cripple our economy."

The man scratched his head, "Time passed and the sleeping virus hadn't appeared in centuries. Our culture evolved and we found other ways to be profitable, we're a society made up of traders and bounty hunters," He explained, "So when the sleeping virus came back, we didn't know what to do."

He approached a desk and looked at the papers, "I've conducted researches for months and I have came close to cracking the case," He rubbed his chin as he examined his studies, "But one recipe remains missing." He nearly muttered.

"The serum for the sleeping virus?" Zoey asked skeptically.

"Of course." He sighed as he took the papers and put them into a neater pile then before.

Katie told, "Perhaps we can afford the serum from the store somewhere in this planet Panna. The only way to keep the others who are affected by the sleeping virus is to let the blood rush to their heads. I learned the advice from our good droid friends; C3PO and R2-D2. I know the sleeping virus the Empire uses it on its enemies. They have a remedy for it in the city. We can get some for you."

"Thank you, Mistress Katie." C3PO replied proudly.

"Nearly everyone in the city is upside down." He replied as his clasped his scaly hands together, "But any lead will be greatly appreciated."

Katie said, "But first, we are going to find out where did Boba find the serum in this place. I remember R2 and C3PO eavesdrop the conversation between Darth Vader and Boba Fett. I know it with my hunch and Katie Sense."

3PO was more then hesitant, "I can't say that I know what you're talking about, Mistress Katie, but I don't believe I know the serum." R2D2 agreed with his counterpart.

Katie smiled confidently, "Perhaps I know with the best I can. I'll show you."

Later, Katie finished the complete sleeping virus serum which looks like the one that Boba Fett bought long time ago. She smiled, "Ta-da."

A large smile appeared on both of the man's faces, "Y-you did it!" He almost didn't believe it. He quickly rushed out of the room, catching the guard by surprise.

TC looked back at the rest, "Uh, I think he's going to tell the king."

Jadie beeps in agreement.

Melina beeps that she agree too.

"Your majesty," The scientist approached the king, "We can trust the group. Actually, the Jedi figured out the formula."

Ahlan Yan's eyes lit up, "She did?"

"Yes sir." He answered.

"What are you waiting for, create the serums to this never happens again!" The king replied, almost in near panic. He was excited however to finally see such a dark period end.

Later, everyone who are affected by a sleeping virus are all cured. A party, held by the king, was created to celebrate the finding of the original recipe for the serum. Ahlan Yan gave medals to each member of the Rockster group and their friends. As he finished placing the last one on JD, he stepped back and looked at all of them, "We're forever in your debt." He bowed respectfully to them. Jadie beeps proudly and then nuzzles R2, saying we did it thanks to Mistress Katie and her friends. R2 beeped happily, commenting that who knew what would've happened with the serum without Katie and the girls.

Kybo Ren along with his crew in the prison is watching them. The man growled, "That should've been us!" The captain shouted angrily. He looked back at the pirate who suggested the serum idea, "How's the escape plan going?"

"Don't speak so loudly!" His partner in crime whispered harshly, "But n-not well, there's guards everywhere..."

Katie smiled, "So your highness, is this okay we can leave so we can continue our adventure?"

He gently nodded, "Of course, Katie. May your travels be safe."

Katie turned to the Rockster Girls and the droids, "Let's go." They walk off and Zoey stare at C3PO with TC-17 sadly. "I'm glad that's all been taken care of for the people of Panna," 3PO replied cheerfully, though his attitude quickly changed when noticing the sullen look on Zoey's face.

TC looked at the two, sensing that something was going on between them. Zoey spoke, "Look, I don't know with you and TC-17 today when you two know each other and reunite each other, I just don't know. You two are former couples. I've never had a love of my life before until I found you, 3PO. I know I look like 14 years old, but biologically I am actually 21 years old on the inside. My sisters and I as half humans and half droids never aged."

3PO was about to speak, but then TC butted in, "Wait, are you two...?" She was hesitant, then shot a look that could be best described as a protocol droid equivalent of a glare.

Ashley, Melina and Katie look at Zoey concernedly. Zoey clenches her fists and her tears stream down from her eyes which she is crying and heartbroken. Zoey closes her eyes tightly and let all the tears stream down on her cheeks. She just said her last words, "I'm sorry, TC-17. He is yours now. I--I must be going." She ran away from them and crying. Ashley reaches her hand towards Zoey, "ZOEY!!!"

3PO called out, "Z-zoey!"

But it was too late. Zoey ran out of their sights. Melina lean her head down sadly and beep sadly.  TC huffed and turned the protocol droid around so he could face her, "3PO, what are you doing?" She replied in an half defeated tone, "If there's anything I've learned from how our relationship has ended is that you're a quitter. You get afraid of the future so you quit while you're ahead. You like her, don't you?"

"I believe so." 3PO answered with TC replying shortly afterwards, "Then, go to her and don't be afraid. It will only hold you back."

The golden droid 3PO straightened himself and stood up in a more confident manner, "You're right, TC." He responded, "I'll be back shortly!" He quickly left to go find the girl; Zoey.

TC watched as her former suitor ran off. Scrath approached the fembot and let out a few worried beeps. "I'll be fine." She replied quietly, patting Scrath's hand gently.
